At the end of the narrow dirt road leading to Laluna, you'll find a handful of thatched and wood shingled roofs tucked discretely into the hillside amidst lush green gardens. Yet, attention to detail can be witnessed in the conscientious staff and distinguished décor accents.

There are 16 cottages total and all facing westward for a breathtaking view of the sun setting over the tranquil turquoise bay. Boldly-colored walls, polished concrete floors and dramatic teak furnishings create a primitive, yet modernistic feel. The 280-foot bedrooms feature a king-sized four-poster bed draped in sheer-white Indonesian cotton. Each cottage also boasts a TV/VCR, CD player and air conditioning as well as a luxurious private deck framed in bamboo, complete with an edgeless plunge pool.
